Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 October 2026
SPOT Vision AI (spotvisionai.com) is a web service that analyses the basketball game videos you upload using AI. By using the service you acknowledge the rules below.
This text is a DRAFT: it has not been legally reviewed and is not a final contract. It summarises, in plain language, how the service works today.
1. The service
SPOT extracts candidate baskets, jersey numbers and clips from a game video, lets you review and correct the results, and lets you build a highlight reel. The service is currently in closed beta; features and behaviour may change.
2. Your account
Create your account with accurate information and do not share your password with anyone. If you notice a security problem with your account, write to us.
3. Content you upload
Only upload videos you have the right to upload. How your videos are processed, stored and deleted is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Results
The analysis is automatic and can make mistakes: camera angle, image quality and jersey visibility all affect the result. Reviewing and correcting results is part of the workflow; no guarantee is given for the accuracy of results or for processing time.
5. Credits
Analyses run on credits. New accounts are not given credits automatically; credits are added with a credit code or by an administrator. The cost of an analysis depends on the total length of the quarters you mark: up to 1.5 hours is 10, 1.5–2 hours is 20, and over 2 hours is 30 credits. The credits of an analysis that fails are refunded automatically.
6. Usage rules
Do not strain the service with automated or excessive requests, do not try to bypass security measures, do not try to access someone else’s account and do not upload unlawful content.
7. Licences and attribution
SPOT uses openly licensed datasets and open-source components. Sources and licences are listed on the “Licenses & Attribution” page.
8. Changes
If we change this text we will update the date at the top of this page.
