SPOT Vision AI (spotvisionai.com) is a basketball video analysis service. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the website, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
1. Data we collect
Account data: your name, email address and (if you sign up with email) a password, which is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider. Google sign-in: if you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account — nothing else. Content: the game videos you upload or import from a YouTube link, the match setup you enter (team names, rosters, jersey numbers) and the outputs we generate (detected scoring events, clips, reels, statistics) together with any corrections you make. Usage data: your credit balance and history, and technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use your data
Only to provide the service: to create and secure your account, analyse your videos and show you the results, produce clips and highlight reels, manage credits, send account emails (email verification, password reset) and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising. If several people upload the same game (same team names and date), we may deliver the finished analysis (events, clips, match setup and roster) to another user who uploaded that game, as that user’s own record, so the same game is not processed again and again.
3. Data from Google
Information received from Google is used only to sign you in and to show your name on your account. It is not shared with third parties, not used for advertising and not used to train any AI model. SPOT Vision AI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Service providers
We use the following providers to run the service; each processes data only on our instructions: Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare R2 (video and clip storage), Modal (video processing on cloud GPUs), Railway (website hosting) and Resend (account emails). Some of these providers store data outside your country; we rely on their contractual safeguards for such transfers.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete any uploaded video and its analysis at any time from your library; the files are removed from storage. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below — we complete deletion within 30 days. Technical logs are kept for at most 90 days.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to your videos and results is tied to your account (except for the same-game matching described in section 2); media files are served only through short-lived signed links.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under KVKK in Türkiye or the GDPR in the EU), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data and to object to or restrict its processing. Write to us at the address below and we will reply within 30 days.
8. Children
The service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page; significant changes will also be announced by email.
